Other Markings

It is not unusual to find letters or geometric shapes imposed across the palm, on the mounts, or as a combination of individual lines that impart specific meaning to the reader.  The size, intensity and position of these shapes indicate the strength of their influence and can be used to guide the seeker in their efforts to discover their inner self and innate abilities. 

Circle:  Circles can appear anywhere on the palm of the hand and indicates isolation or restriction in the region in which it is situated.  Confinement due to ill-health is a common interpretation of the circle or island that is incorporated into a particular line.  

Magic M:  For some the lines of heart, head, life and fate will come together to form a distinct “M” on the palm of the hand.  This is considered the sign of the Mother Goddess and indicates extreme good fortune and success. 

Mystic Cross:  This shape is formed between the Head and Heart lines and indicates magical power. 

Pentagram:  A sign of spiritual power and insight, the pentagram is formed by the intersection of the Head, Life, Fate and Money lines. 

Geometric shapes such as squares and triangles indicate assistance from others and good fortune.  Lines may be deep and unbroken or thready and feathered.  The reader will consider the strength of the lines of the symbols when interpreting the degree of influence on the seeker.
