Several Minor Lines

Minor lines traverse the palm and are frequently missing from the seeker’s palm.  They punctuate the messages and tendencies as related in the major lines and reading of the Mounts, but taken on their own are often difficult to accurately interpret.
Sun Line:  This line runs parallel to the Fate Line and equally indicates fame and scandal.  It is sometimes confused with the Apollo Line, but when both are present the importance of each is magnified.

Girdle of Venus:  Also called the Belt of Venus, this is a sharply curving line that runs under the mounts of the middle and ring fingers.  Its presence can indicate a highly emotional being who is easily agitated while its absence is construed as a sign of emotional stability and a quiet character.  A deeply pronounced line indicates a person prone to manipulating others.
Mercury Line:  Crosses the palm diagonally from the center of the palm near the wrist upward and outward to the space between the ring and little fingers.  It is typically agreed to indicate chronic health concerns or a high degree of business savvy.

Travel Lines:  We look to lines radiating from Life Line between the wrist and the Heart Line to determine the possibility or probability of travel and the seeker’s own desire or hesitancy to travel.  A line that flares outward in the direction of the Mount of the Moon clearly indicates a desire for or love of travel.  An influence line that crosses the Life Line from the Venus Mount in the direction of the passive Mars Mount reflects self-driven changes that will result in travel and relocation.  In this instance the longer the influence line the more distant the travel.  Strong branches indicate brief travel stints with strong ties to home while fine branches near the base of the Life Line indicate a desire to “run away” from the stresses of life.  These individuals might benefit from the creation of a spiritual “safe space” where they can mentally retreat and regroup.

Apollo Line:  This line traverses the palm vertically from mid-palm to the Apollo Mount just below the ring, or Sun finger.  The line rarely runs the full range, rather appears in brief and sometimes is limited to the Apollo Mount alone.  It is not unusual for the Apollo Line to be absent altogether.  This line indicates creativity, talent, and magnetic personality and is frequently present on the palms of renowned performers and artists.
