The Fate Line

fate line

Many interpret “fate” as influence beyond one’s own control … a predetermined outcome based upon karma, God’s will or other dogmatic doctrine.  To the palmist, however, fate has a broader description that indicates the self-made man or woman or one who will be aided by a life partner in the achievement of their goals.

The Fate line extends vertically on the palm from the wrist toward the base of the middle finger.  A faint line reflects an individual whose life relies little upon the influences of fate.  These individuals generally feel in control of most situations in their life and are rarely shaken off-course by unpredictable circumstances.  Conversely, the individual with a strong Fate line might feel that life’s direction is beyond their control.
Do you frequently sacrifice your own needs to accommodate the needs of others?  Your fate line will most likely join the Life line at some point.

Have you sought or will you pursue a public position?  Your Fate line probably begins in the outer base of the palm.
If the Fate line is weak and thready while other lines of the palm are strong and distinct, the seeker will build their fate solely on their own hard work.

When special marks such as crosses, circles, triangles and squares appear on the Fate line, their life will be punctuated by blessings, blocks, protection or challenges at or near the times indicated by the positioning of these geometric symbols.

The Fate line is one of the six basic lines that new readers seek to understand in order to perform party readings for friends and families.  With the numerous influences based on the depth, location and comparison to other palm features coupled with the intricacies of other marks and mounts, relying upon the basics can lead to a highly inaccurate reading.
